Dance of the night is just magic. Wow. 8/10 – Adam/Breakonomics

Excellent work on both of these. Thanks! 8/10 – DJ Dylan Kennedy

Great stuff from Toronto Is Broken, Dance of The Night is a wonderfully deep tune, a mellow relaxing vibe. I Can’t Be Real keeps it very real with a sweet tune that stays honest to the depth of the release. 9/10 – GDM/Vibes Refresh Session

Great tracks as usual from one of the most consistent up and coming producers. 9/10 – Tony Parker, DTSFNEYMCCT

Both tunes are lovely! Dance of the Night is the perfect balance of moody & deep while I Can’t Be Real brings the tempo up a bit while maintaining the depth with great effects on the vocal refrain…nice one! 9/10 – DJ Winter/Testpress Digital/NYC

“I Can’t Be Real” is a nice driving progressive sounding tune, very ethereal. 9/10 – Rasputan

Dance of the Night – the atmosphere hits deep! one of my favorite releases by Haunted Audio to date. I Can’t Be Real – love the beat, the rhythm really gets me – 10/10~ Poor Ragged Rascal/Black Market Funk

Janner – Mutant Crabs with Rocket Launchers (BunZer0 Remix) – HAR 126b

Janner – Arrakis – HAR 126c

BunZer0 – Rebellion – HAR 126d

“A masterpiece, BunZer0′s Rebellion is an engrossing track from start to finish, the man produces yet another top class tune. In addition to this a BunZer0 remix of Janner’s wonderfully named “Mutoid Crabs with Rocket Launchers” plus the original, PLUS Janner’s Arrakis completes a release of music that you can feel flowing through your veins! Wonderful stuff.
9/10″ – GDM, Vibes Refresh Session/Sub.fm

“Love the oldschool vibes on the janner tunes !!” – Simon/Off

“sick. super sick (release)” – Ryan Twoway Morejon, WWU02

“No denying the amazing sound from combining two bass heavy weights like Janner and BunZer0. Ace aggressive bass work here!! 9/10.” – DGGZ/Vibes Refresh Session/Sub.fm

“Querky Sounds!” – Joe/Hush House blog

“BunZer0′s “Rebellion” stands out to me, really great track.” – Blind Prophet

“Loving the orig of Mutoid Crabs, but Arrakis original mix is my pick of the bunch. Melodic old skool flavour with some lovely low end and nice drum programming. Janner and haunted audio continue to go from strength to strength.” – Adam/Breakonomics

“‘Mutoid’ is a bit of a video game influence rave smasher with the infamous hiphop/jungle/rave Apache break lacing the 8bit funk, backed by the straight ahead breaks roller ‘Arrakis.’ BunZer0′s remix of ‘Mutoid’” beckons to the days of dubstep gone by, with dubby bassline and sparse landscape. ‘Rebellion’ from BunZer0 also seems to call to the past, with its rave stabs and steppy tribal rhythm. 8/10″ – SomeJerk

“I like the [Janner] garage mixes a great deal!” – MetalBox Products/Sub.fm

“Very distinctive beats from Bunzer0 & Janner, Arrakis is the one for me ;) 8/10 ” – Luthor

“Great release here. Very diverse and tons of vibes. Great work!! 9/10″ – Methodus

“Really feeling ‘Mutant Crabs With Rocket launchers’ and Arrakis, will be supporting both. 8/10″ – Mike Hindle/Immersed Audio Blog

“Both are great tracks, weighty, but not too “silly” with the wobble or synths.” – DFRNT

HAR 127a “Rotate” Feat. Brea

HAR 127b “Rotate” (Policy Remix)

Smooth summery future bass vibes from NYC’s Blind Prophet, featuring lovely vocals by Brea; coupled with Policy’s quirky acid house remix.

Beatport release 8/16; wide release 8/30

“Really feeling this release from Blind Prophet, “Rotate” has a great vibe to it, with each layer of samples defining the track further, before stripping it away and dropping it something akin to Sepalcure. The remix of “Rotate” from Policy is dark, stripped down, housey and a bit slow, lovely vibe for a more chilled hour of the night, or early morning. 9 out of 10″ – SomeJerk/Digital Felon

“Blind Prophet comes to Haunted with a tune named Rotate, appropriate as I will have this on rotation for a while, has some great sounds in there, almost organic. 8 out of 10″ – Luthor

“Great atmosphere and vibes on the original mix. Will support.” – Adam/Breakonomics RTE.ie

“Full support for the original, awesome release!” – Mike Hindle/Immersed Audio Blog

Both nice versions!!! Lovely! 8/10 – DJ Foster/Dubspencer Sound show/SubMafia show – sub.fm

“The Blind Prophet – Rotate Original has a wonderfully light sound with a real weighty bassline, while the Policy Remix does full justice to the Original. Amazing melodic sounds very pleasing to the ear. 8/10″ – GDM/Vibes Refresh Session

“Beautiful Track! Perfect Summer Deepness. 9/10″ – Poor Ragged Rascal/Black Market Funk

“Great tune for the summer! Chilled out but bouncy enough to keep the flow moving…love the vocal too :) ” –

HAR_123 HAR 123a “Skin Beats”
HAR 123b “NU”
New Zealand producer FIS lays down some heavy riddims with this moody next-level dubstep. NU veers into dark garage territory as haunting, ethereal vocal samples swirl above shuffled beats. On Skin Beats, airy soulful vocals layer over hints of dub accenting heavy bass, coupled with hybrid dubstep/half-step beats, giving a nod to the latest sounds emerging from drum and bass. Release date: 4/4/11 Beatport; 4/18/11 wide release.

Simon/Off – Let It Go/In Circles – HAR122

Posted in Releases, Simon/Off by ghosty on March 20, 2011 No Comments yet
HAR_122 HAR 122a “Let It Go”
HAR 122b “In Circles”
Austrian producer Simon/Off’s fourth release for Haunted Audio features his unique and timeless style of bass music. Let It Go’s breakbeats morph around beautiful house vocals to create an instantly classic peak hour tune. In Circles is a hybrid house/UK funky rhythm, but twisted through future garage and dubstep basslines and syncopated melodies. His tunes have been a favorite of Sonic Router and other key music outlets for some time now.
Release date: 3/21/11 Beatport; 4/4/11 wide release.

After his searing appearance in Immerse, Simon/off is back on the radar
packing two cuts of fresh, uptempo beats with heart and soul. "Let it go"
reaches out to something almost euphoric with a charming square wave synth
line, while the percussion remains top drawer. "In Circles" is a dreamier
affair, where the synths really get to express themselves in a drunken but
friendly monologue.

HAR_115 HAR 115a “Ultra”

HAR 115b “Greek God”
HAR 115c “Anoxic”

HAR 115d “Violet”
Distinctive techno and electronica fused with dubstep beats meshed together in this EP, which once again encompasses the unique and instantly identifiable sound of Luthor. Ultra is a minimal techno piece laced with dubby stabs and riffs giving it that late night feel. Anoxic steps up the pace with an upbeat, techno-driven with tempo twists and unique breakdown. Greek God is truly one of Luthor’s best dance floor anthems to date; old school rave stabs ebb and flow through this track, backed up with detailed, driving percussion. Violet rounds out the EP with a laid back tune centered around a big bassline and quirky techno stabs. Release date: 16/08/2010
